EVENTelec was established in 1996 under the original name of Rentelec. In 2007, company director James Neilsen rebranded the company under EVENTelec Events Pty Ltd. It is now Australia’s largest supplier of temporary electrical infrastructure equipment. James is still very active within the running of EVENTelec as well as sharing his time steering the growth of AUSGEN (Australian Generators) which was launch in October 2011. AUSGEN is a generator sales, leasing and service provider specifically to the hire and mining industries.

EVENTelec is a total electrical infrastructure supply company specialising in Major Events and the concert industry. Our equipment, which has been specifically developed for the events industry, gives us the flexibility to meet the individual expectations of our clients.

Some major achievements for the EVENTelec team was the design consultancy and delivery of the temporary power and distribution supply to the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2008 World Youth Day in Sydney. EVENTelec is proud to be the official electrical supplier to our Nations blue chip events.
