Established in 1996 to deliver the electrical overlay to former Gold Coast Indy Carnival, “Rentelec” became “EVENTelec” in 2007 and has vastly grown ever since. We are now considered the market leader in temporary electrical distribution to Australia’s major events.
The company is solely owned and is operated by an amazing team of dedicated and experienced professionals who are passionate about what they deliver. Our head office is based on the Gold Coast, the hub which makes powering up some 84 events annually possible, throughout Australia from Townsville to Tasmania and across to Adelaide. Due to the market growth in the southern states we have recently opened a branch in Adelaide.

Significant cost savings can be achieved by working together with the organising projects committee, the site management team and by reducing the time on-site by utilising our specialised equipment and experienced staff.
The EVENTelec team work very hard in the events industry. We have built a successful company and take pride in our brand. We have established strong, open and healthy working relationships with other industry suppliers, contractors and corporate organisations. As part of our successful event delivery strategy we would intergrade our very strong working relationship and liaison with the local electrical authorities. We pro-actively establish relationships between EVENTelec delivery team and local personnel in the same fashion as we do on other projects.
EVENTelec recently sold Sydney based Australian Generators (AusGen). AusGen is a generator sales, leasing and service provider to the large industrial and mining sector. The company group also includes Fishing & Leisure Boats (F&LB) based on the Gold Coast. F&LB is the Australian wholesaler of World Cat Group and Tracker Marine.
